Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KronixAI iOS application and related services ("KronixAI" or "the Service"), operated by Wesley Huang ("we," "us," or "the developer"). By creating an account or using KronixAI you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

KronixAI provides general wellness and fitness information. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions.

1. The Service

KronixAI is an AI-powered personal health and fitness companion: it centralizes the data you log or sync (sleep, workouts, nutrition, activities, injuries, lifestyle context) and uses AI to generate insights, scores, coaching, and conversational assistance based on that data. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use KronixAI. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping access to your device and sign-in method secure. You may delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete Account, which permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Your data & our license to operate

You own the data you log. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and display it — including sending relevant portions to our AI provider — solely to operate and improve the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We never sell your personal or health data.

4. AI-generated content

Insights, scores, estimates (such as calorie and macro estimates), and chat responses are generated by artificial intelligence. AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. It is provided for general informational purposes, is not professional advice of any kind, and should not be your sole basis for health, training, or nutrition decisions. Verify anything that matters, and rely on a qualified professional for medical concerns.

5. Health & safety

Do not use KronixAI for emergencies. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
Consult a physician before beginning or changing an exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a medical condition or injury.
You use training, nutrition, and recovery suggestions at your own risk and within your own limits.

6. Connected services

KronixAI can import data from services you choose to connect, such as Apple Health or third-party trackers (for example an Oura ring). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and their availability or data quality is outside our control. You can disconnect them at any time; disconnecting stops future imports but does not by itself delete previously imported data (delete entries or your account for that).

7. Plans & pricing

KronixAI is currently free to use, with fair-use limits on AI features. We may introduce paid plans with higher limits or additional features in the future; any purchase terms will be presented before you buy.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse, overload, probe, or disrupt the Service; attempt to access another user's data; reverse-engineer or resell the Service; use it to develop a competing dataset; or use it for unlawful purposes. We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service.

9. Intellectual property

The Service — its app, design, branding, and software — is owned by the developer and protected by law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your Apple devices, as permitted by Apple's standard licensed-application terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Synced data depends on third-party devices and services and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of data, health outcomes, or lost profits, arising from your use of the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or USD $50.

12. Termination

You may stop using KronixAI or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service, and will not do so arbitrarily. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (3, 4, 9–11, 13–14) survive.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law & contact
